Non-Use Conflict Minerals Statement

In recent years, the raw materials and processes for manufacturing products have caused social and environmental issues. Among them, minerals from conflict-affected and high-risk areas have even caused serious armed conflicts and human rights issues. Based on the three aspects of ESG, Certain Micro Application Technology Inc. (CMAT) is responsible for understanding the sources of our suppliers, and adopts positive purchasing behaviors and proactive practices on this issue as follows:

CMAT has incorporated banned "conflict minerals" into its supply chain product policy to ensure that CMAT's products do not use the above-mentioned "conflict minerals".

  • 1.CMAT’s suppliers must take responsibility for social and environmental protection.
  • 2.CMAT suppliers should conduct due diligence on responsible mineral supply chains in conflict-affected and high-risk areas and prohibit their use.
  • 3.CMAT suppliers should adopt policies and conduct due diligence on the origin and chain of custody of tantalum, tin, tungsten, gold, cobalt and mica in the products they produce to ensure compliance with the (OECD) Economic Cooperation for Responsible Minerals Supply Chain and Development Organizations’ Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas or an equivalent and recognized due diligence framework.
  • 4.CMAT suppliers should communicate this requirement to their upstream suppliers.
